Graffiti is not something you may typically applaud as 'art' and quite frankly I don't think I could be bothered convincing you. But I must say that when I stroll around Melbourne I see some amazing creative political statements and graphics on buildings, footpaths, bridges, and public transport. When I lived in Melbourne a long time ago I would take the train past the same statement everyday "Weapons are for the weak". Each day I had the opportunity to explore this weapons statement, which would create different thoughts, feelings and emotions. For the anonymous artist, this was one of their chosen ways to make a political statement.
